What we don’t collect

TypeDock has no account to sign up for and no server that we run. Because there is nowhere to send it, we never receive:

• Your snippets and clipboard contents.
• The keystrokes you type and the text you expand.
• Contacts, location, or an advertising identifier.

iCloud sync

When you turn on sync, your library is stored in your private iCloud database under your Apple Account, and moves between your devices through Apple’s servers. It is not shared with us. You can turn sync off in Settings at any time.

The keyboard on iPhone and iPad

The TypeDock keyboard runs without Full Access. It has no network permission, so what you type inside it stays inside it.

Concealed fields

When you copy from a password field or another secure field, that content is treated as concealed. It is never written to your clipboard history or to disk.

Website analytics

This website uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and cookieless interaction events without collecting personal data. There is no other third-party analytics, on the site or in the apps.

Payments & subscriptions

TypeDock is free to use; TypeDock Pro is an optional subscription. We never see or store your card details. On iPhone and iPad, Apple bills you through the App Store. On the Mac, Paddle is our merchant of record and processes the payment and any tax.

To keep your Pro access in sync across your devices, we use RevenueCat, which receives a record of your purchase, a device identifier, and an app-specific ID derived from your iCloud account ID. That is used only to unlock Pro on your devices — never to track you, and never joined to the text you write. Apple, Paddle, and RevenueCat process this as our providers, under their own privacy policies.
